Studio work is often more taxing for a Fine art Model - but here Rosemarie delivers stunning poses with ease!

Rosemarie strives to maintain her position & the quality that has ensured her reputation as a leading figurative Fine Art Model.

In an effort to meet the increasing demands to provide High Quality Figurative Art facilities in Wiltshire and in particular South of the M4, we’ve been working closely with the trustees of the Broad Hinton Village Hall to establish the Broad Hinton Figurative Art Group (BHFAG).

Located at the centre of a large group of talented artists, Broad Hinton boasts a large, bright, well appointed hall / studio space with excellent parking, access & facilities, it makes an ideal base to service the initial 4 half day, (10.00 to 13.00) untutored, model lead workshops - scheduled for the following WEDNESDAYS in 2015:-

We have drawn upon our extensive pool of “inspirational” models to

deliver the catalyst for the artists attending - with the first event featuring the talented, toned, dynamic skills of the experienced Rosemarie Orwin, seen above right, posing for a (UK) national Women's Magazine article.

Broad Hinton's village hall provides a great deal of space for the artists to make their home this year.

We’ll of course be providing Teas/Coffees/Biscuits (FOC) during these events, but Tony & Clare (The Landlords of the renowned CROWN INN) across the road have kindly offered to provide BHFAG Artists a discount on food and Hot drinks immediately after the events and a discounted rate for their superb B&B facilities on these dates and the evening before.

Artists can attend as many or as few of these events as they wish (subject to availability), paying a small deposit prior to

secure places and the balance on “the day”. Please give us the “Thumbs Up” and contact us for more details via this link -

We are delighted that the numbers attending the Swindon All day Sunday Figurative Art workshops continues to grow - resulting in the additional events being scheduled for 2015.

This was also the catalyst for agreeing to establish the Broad Hinton Group (see below) delivering an equally high quality, half day, mid week Figurative Workshop for the region on WEDNESDAYS in 2015.

Although artists attend from as far afield as Exeter, Chichester, London Birmingham, Swansea and beyond, the Figurative Art Group was initially established 12 years ago in order to provide a reliable, high quality Figurative workshop resource to local artists.

Iona - the very talented Welsh model infront of SOTFAGs on Jan 11th - returning by popular demand on Nov 22nd 2015.

We’re delighted that over 300 artists now occasionally attend the events, but as some move out of the area, move on to other art forms, or unfortunately “pass on” - we’re always looking for ways to inform new artists of the superb resources on their door step.

Many local publications are carrying details of the events and on Jan 27th the Swindon Advertiser featured a 2 page spread on our activities. Download the story by clicking through on”The Adver” to the left.

We’ve had help from numerous art groups, clubs and societies in the area who are now displaying posters advertising the 2 series of Life Drawing Workshops, as well as a growing number of Supermarkets in Swindon, Trowbridge, Melksham, Marlborough, Devizes etc.

You can listen to it again on BBC iPlayer (the piece was at 14.45) or by clicking on Sue to stream the 9 minute interview onto your device / computer.

Finally, we’re delighted to share with you that with immediate effect you’ll be able to purchase tickets for both the Swindon and Broad Hinton Life Drawing Workshops from all outlets of the Swindon Library and Information Service.
