Rosemarie is a well respected and much sought after photographic model - working across many styles and genre.
She was delighted recently to be contacted by a renowned Fine Art Photographer to collaborate on a commission revolving around a “Steampunk” theme.
Whilst it is a relatively new concept, - it can produce a wide variety of interesting / impressive results.
Rosemarie’s extensive wardrobe, modelling & artistic input greatly aided this complex shoot around the Claddau Estuary which more than came up to expectations. The results will shortly be available in a large format, limited edition Coffee Table book (details to follow).

As ANY Artist, sculptor or photographer will tell you - there is far more to being a successful model than simply sitting, standing or lying in front of the artists.
NUDE modelling is even more misunderstood and particularly the sub genre of Art Nude Photography - where Rosemarie has such a high profile and record of success.

Being a successful SCULPTURE MODEL is perhaps the most difficult genre to deliver. It is definitely the most difficult / arduous!
Whilst in a tutored class (such as the one shown on the left (details can be obtained via our CONTACTS page) the model can be asked to maintain a pose for many hours - or even for the full working day!
When working for a sculptor on a commission, this is often extended with a single pose being maintained 8 hours a day for a week or sometimes more.The pain can be excruciating - and obviously demand a VERY fit model - both Mentally and physically. The rewards however are usually rewarding and often stunning!

Another of the many “Local” Life Drawing Classes with which Rosemarie is associated, has been running now for 12 months with rapidly growing success 3 miles south of Swindon under the Tutorage of an internationally renowned artist (and former model).
There is limited availability for these tutored sessions which are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Life Drawing classes CAN BE difficult to find - good ones are even more rare beasts.
Such classes revolve around talented tutors and in their turn - inspirational “models” acting as the catalyst to the (student or “practicing”) artist’s inherant skill set.
The concept of “Muse” is well known, but little appreciated. Rosemarie has been fortunate enough to have worked very successfully across the South West / South, in Wales and the Midlands in this capacity with a large number of Artists and Tutors - the latest with new regular groups in Marlborough and Swindon.

A national Veterinarian Supply company retained HenAndStag.me.uk to deliver a 90min Team Building event in a sumptuous venue outside the iconic Welsh cultural centre of Llangollen.
After helping the delegates overcoming their initial shyness, our talented team introduced them to a series of exercises that subtly built on and reinforced the benefits of Team Work to create increasingly impressive sketches.
The team left a very happy group to enjoy their gourmet meal with a raft of happy memories to reinforce the team building principles that they had experienced & from which they doubtless benefited.

On a rare assignment in her home county of Wiltshire, Rosemarie recently worked with a renowned Figurative Photographic Artist in a local hotel to create a number of Art Nude / Steam Punk pieces.
Her long supple, toned form and long experience as a figurative model combined with the photographers skill set to produce a dizzying collection of pieces destined for two glossy “Coffee Table” books that will be available later this year (Details to follow shortly) .

As the Summer holidays close, Art Clubs, Groups, Societies and Schools /Colleges slowly begin to ramp up their classes and workshops again - meaning that Rosemarie has many more commissions to squeeze into her diary.
Fine Art Photographers begin their retreat from the wide vistas that sparked their imagination to the more controlled environment of the studio.
Here, the models skill set is brought much more to the for bringing the bare confines to life and generating that “Spark” differentiating the images from others.
