EROTICA 2011 Olympia London

For the second year in succession, Rosemarie is booked to model at the prestigious London EROTICA exhibition at Olympia - this year between 18th - 19th November. In addition to working with renowned Body Caster - Ken Clarke - where she will be demonstrating the particular skills that a model must display to carry out this role (see link) - she will also be modelling the spectacular “Living Lingerie” created in a collaboration between Modelled me uk, Ken Clarke and The Spa Collection,

Rosemarie will be modelling the ensemble throughout Friday and Saturday around the hall, to show people what they could look like with their own personally crafted creation.

This event always attracts a great dealof media coverage, and so you will dountless be ableto see snipets fro it on TV, in the papers and of course on the internet, but if you do have an hour or two to spare and are in West London, please pop in to say hello andsee the Living Lingerie (and Rosemarie) in person.

Rosemarie is known across a number of modelling genre, - but perhaps her profile is highest in the area where she first started modelling in 2004, that of Life Modelling.

Her skill and talent in this field are recognised both by professional artists and local and community art groups and societies alike. There fore, it was far from unusual for her in the last week in September to be working with the Droitwich Spa Art Society one morning and then travelling the few miles east to the centre of Birmingham to model for the well known Digbeth Artist, Kevin Ryan.

”Pulling in” artists from an ever widening area of the South and Midlands - our toned and skilled models continue to present interesting, relevant and dynamic poses.

Although the All Day Sunday Workshops started over 7 years ago as a means of delivering high quality figurative Drawing sessions for the artists of Swindon and based soleley on the modelling of Rosemarie Orwin - over the years, the events quickly broadened to include a wide range of talented models brought in from London, Exeter and beyond - to provide variety for the  artists attending on a regular basis.  

Artists at the September's workshop (another full house) were able to produce many superb pieces as they worked from and with the model for the day - who in addition to his modelling and rigorous “keep fit” regimen, is also a professional diver. The quality and variety of the models are amongst the many points making these sessions so popular.

LIFE DRAWING HEN PARTY

Due to the success of Modelled me UK in running Figurative Classes and  Workshops in

2009, the Register of Artists Models (RAM) asked Rosemarie to take on the role of

co-ordinating the embrionic Life Drawing HenParties.

The continued success of this venture has surprised all who are involved, with new Tutors

and Models being brought in to the team  to cope with the ever increasing demand.

In the first two years of the business, the spring and summer saw the expected peak in the

number of hen parties taking place, but in 2011 the hen parties just "Keep on Coming"!

                            Bookings are already in place for events across the UK well into 2012

                            and the usual Autumnal downturn in events has so far not been seen.

                           Indeed, on average, in September there are still in excess of 20 parties each weekend across the UK.

                           Whilst these events are always fun - we are delighted to know that they are also a superb introduction to Life Drawing to                             a growing group of individuals who as a result of the Hen Parties - contact local clubs and societies to take up this                             increasingly popular art form. Who would have thought it - Hen Parties contributing to Art in the UK!
