PORTRAIT MODEL                               Swindon                        FEBRUARY 2010

As a Full Time Figurative Model, Rosemarie is involved with a wide variety of assignments and artists - as can be seen from this News page alone. However, it is sometimes easy to forget that in addition to the work she carries out as a Photographic, Sculpture and Body Casting Model - Rosemarie’s main areas of activity are still with Artists.

Rosemarie sitting for a Portrait session in her studio for London Artists Col.Her work is a mixture of “Workshops and Classes” where she is retained for her skill and experience in delivering solid, dynamic and  relevant poses that illustrate the subject under discussion. These attributes are aided by her sharply defined Musculature and Anatomical detail that are used time and time again to illustrate the basic form of the female human anatomy.

Additionally though, Rosemarie has been in great demand for private commissions from Artists who secure her services on an individual - “One to One” basis for more prolonged or detailed work.

Such commissions come from Artists with a wide range of experience and expertise - literally from Members and Fellows of the Royal Academy - to relatively new Artists wishing to hone their skills during intense private sittings with Rosemarie. Of course, there are also many grades of artists between the two who have worked closely with Rosemarie. For example - Coll, who last week travelled from London to Rosemarie’s Studio in Swindon for a range of portrait sittings.

PHOTOGRAPHIC MODEL                     Swindon                        FEBRUARY 2010

Power, Allure, Sensuality and Mystery - all in the one shot, - all from the one model - Rosemarie!Increasingly, Rosemarie is finding that her skills are being called upon over ever wider areas - and from a wider range of clients in the Figurative Art market. Throughout though, the common theme is that when new Artists, Sculptors, Photographers, Art Directors, Publishers, Film makers etc start working with her, they are stunned by her striking form, control, artistic interpretation, commitment and professionalism.

Seductive sensuality is a strong point of Figurative Art Model Rosemarie - as can be easily seen in this colourful image Although February has hardly started, Rosemarie has already been commissioned by and carried out shoots for two well known UK photographers creating a wide range of looks in the short time of each of the two location sessions.

Rosemarie is comfortable working as an Art Nude Model, or  able to deliver stunning poses with the aid of her varied wardrobe to offer poses across the range of what is loosely defined as “Glamorous”. Here are some of the images:-Dramatic strength and poise in this image taken for a Science Fiction Cover

Pensive but strong pose in this simple yet attractive image."Edgy Fashion" too is an integral element of Rosemari's repertoire - r

BODY CASTING COURSE                     Reading                        December 2009

Ken and Rosemarie working closely together to create a body cast for a client One of Ken's students (From Spain) working on a Full Torso Body Cast of Rosemarie.Over the years of her career as a full time model, Rosemarie has been fortunate to work with a number of great artists across a variety of “specialities”, Sculptors, Oil and Water Colour Painters, Body Painters and Body Casters. She has travelled widely to work with many artists - but coincidentally, one of her most trusted collaborators - Ken Clark, has his studio in Reading, less than an hour away from her base in Wiltshire

Ken’s work stretches back over many years and his pieces are in great demand not only in the Film and Television world for special effects - but also for individuals who wish to have examples of his spectacular work on their walls - or to give as very personal keep sakes to loved ones. Such is Ken’s reputation as a Body Caster, that he is being increasingly called upon to impart his skills in extended one to one tuition sessions.

The finest details are recorded using Ken's intricate processes IOne of Ken's Students making last minute adjustment to a casting taken from Rosemarie.n such an environment, it is even more important than usual for the model to remain absolutely still - but in a dynamic and interesting pose - to allow the Tutor to concentrate on the technicalities of the process, or to allow the student to carry out the complicated procedures involved to deliver a perfect representation of the part of the body in question.

The process to produce a single piece is long and the focus and stamina required for a model to deliver of their best over a full course, is arduous. However, Rosemarie’s long training in the field pays dividends and her work shows its value for Ken and the students.

Use this link to apply for a place on one of Ken's Body Casting Courses, or how to have yourself cast. The pieces that result from the casting process are unique - “One Offs” however, if you wished to commission Ken to produce a piece for you, or to place you on one of his coursesUse this link to discuss purchasing casts of Rosemarie., simply click on the bottom

If on the other hand, you would like to discuss purchasing a cast of Rosemarie (the torso shown above on the easel to the right for example), she would be delighted to discuss it with you. Simply click on the link to the right to e-mail Rosemarie directly
